Think about it: if price really controlled buyer behavior, then this broad range of prices for similar products and services would not exist.
Everybody would be staying at a Motel 6 instead of a Ritz Carlton or a Four Seasons. And everyone would be buying steaks from the local discount grocery store instead of paying 50% more to have them FedExed from Omaha Steaks.
If you’re honest with yourself, you can probably admit that you’re not extracting the maximum price the market will pay for your products or services.
That’s because you’ve never been exposed to a blueprint for positioning or reinventing your business so you can double or triple your prices—and your profits.
So if you’re currently undercharging for your product or service, it’s not your fault.

They will force your prices down. You see, the reason American Airlines, Delta, and United have run into trouble is because they reacted to the big Kahuna in the skies, Southwest, who dropped their prices.
They should never have done it in the first place. They can’t operate that great big airplane with all those overhead costs and fly you across the country for less money than what customers paid in 1974.
So you should never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever try to be the low price provider because you can’t sustain it.
